Mitsui Outlet Park Shiga Ryuo stands as one of the largest outlet malls in the Kansai region, located in Ryuo-cho, Gamo District, Shiga Prefecture. The facility was developed based on the concept of an "environmental symbiotic outlet mall," taking advantage of the abundant natural environment in the area. The vast site spans 180,000 square meters, creating a spacious semi-outdoor shopping environment that integrates harmoniously with its surroundings.

The mall houses approximately 230 stores featuring a diverse mix of domestic and international brands, from luxury designer labels to popular fashion retailers, sports goods, children's clothing, and household items. The shopping complex consists of two main buildings connected by outdoor walkways, offering both brand-name outlets and limited-time specialty stores. The facility includes restaurants, sports stores, and children's shops, along with a food court serving various dining options. Notable dining establishments include outlets featuring Omi Beef, one of Japan's three premier wagyu brands native to Shiga Prefecture, as well as popular Japanese cafes.

Alternatively, a 30-minute bus ride is available from Omihachiman Station on the JR Tokaido mainline. Entry to the mall is free, with individual stores setting their own pricing.
