The Toyama Municipal Folkcraft Village (Toyama-shi Minzoku Mingeikan) is a cultural complex located in the Azuma district of Toyama City, established to preserve and showcase the traditional crafts and folk culture of the Toyama region. The village serves as both a museum and working craft center, offering visitors insight into the area's rich artisan heritage that developed during the Edo period when Toyama was known for its medicine peddlers and traditional industries.

The complex consists of several traditional buildings spread across a scenic hillside setting, each dedicated to different aspects of local folk culture. The main folkcraft museum displays an extensive collection of everyday items used by common people throughout Toyama's history, including farming tools, household implements, and regional textiles. The village also features working craft houses where visitors can observe artisans practicing traditional techniques such as Etchu Seto pottery, wood carving, and bamboo crafts. These demonstrations provide a living connection to skills passed down through generations.

Visitors can participate in hands-on workshops where they create their own pottery, paper crafts, or other traditional items under the guidance of local craftspeople. The village is located approximately 20 minutes by car from Toyama Station, or visitors can take the Toyama Chitetsu bus toward Azuma and alight at the Mingeikan-mae stop, which is directly in front of the entrance. Free parking is available for those driving. Admission to the main museum costs ¥530 for adults, with additional fees for workshop participation varying by activity.
