Kids under 15 need to be with a guardian who is 18 or older. They can’t join alone.
Children under 6 years old can’t take part in this activity.
Rental clothes include tops and bottoms, but things like gloves, goggles, hats, and socks aren’t included. Bring your own.
Big and junior sizes might be limited, so it’s a good idea to check with the rental shop first. Extra charges may apply for certain sizes.
Make sure to return all rented items during the shop’s open hours.
There’s an optional fee per item to cover damage, payable at the shop.
For multi-day use, you’ll need to return rentals each day and pick them up again for the next day. Lift tickets also need to be collected daily.
Accessories like gloves and goggles are sold at the shop, but stock is limited, so it’s better to bring your own.

Kandatsu Snow Resort GROUND BASE
Your day begins at Kandatsu Snow Resort GROUND BASE in Yuzawa, Niigata. The resort is open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You’ll need to arrange your own way to get there. Once you arrive, go to the second floor of the Ski Center, show your smartphone screen with your ticket details, and pick up your lift and rental tickets. Then, head to the rental shop on the third floor to get your gear.

Getting Ready
When you check-in, you’ll receive everything you need for the day. Skiers can rent skis, poles, and boots, while snowboarders get a snowboard and boots. Clothing rentals include jackets and pants, but make sure to bring your own gloves, goggles, and other accessories.
Hitting the Slopes
After you’re all set, head out to enjoy the snow! Kandatsu Snow Resort has 16 courses for all skill levels. Beginners can take it easy on the Rabbit Course, while more experienced skiers and snowboarders can tackle more challenging runs like the Hayabusa Course.
Returning Gear
Before the shop closes at 5:00 PM, return all your rental items to the third floor. Make sure everything is returned on time to avoid any extra fees. Once you’re done, your fun-filled day at Kandatsu Snow Resort comes to an end. Have a safe trip back, and start planning your next snow adventure!
