With a small group we walked the interesting route from the river to the Nishiki. The food market is interesting and excitingly busy with tourists. Our guide was able to pick some interesting foods for us to try. The lunch place at the end of the tour is a modern Japanese restaurant and the 8 options were actually large and diverse even when the picture didn't show it! A tour like this is also great to meet some other travellers.

Fun, casual walk with nice guide
