Senganen

Create a one-of-a-kind accessory using colorful Kiriko glass pieces at Senganen in Kagoshima. Enjoy a hands-on cultural experience using real materials from the traditional Satsuma Kiriko craft.

Participants can create small accessories such as keychains, pendants, or charms using leftover Kiriko glass pieces. Each piece is unique, so your finished item will be one of a kind.

No experience is needed. The activity is beginner-friendly and guided step-by-step by staff, making it suitable for first-timers and children with adult supervision.

The accessory-making session usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the item you choose and how detailed your design is.

Senganen is easily accessible by public transportation from central Kagoshima. You can take a bus or taxi; detailed directions are usually provided after booking.

Some areas of Senganen are accessible, but please contact the facility in advance if you have specific mobility needs to confirm workshop accessibility.
