Meet up in front of JR Ticket Counter (Midori no Madoguchi) on the 2nd floor of Sendai Station.
Your journey begins at Sendai Station, where the group will meet and transfer to Natori City. First, visit the Natori Trail Center to learn about the Michinoku Shiokaze Trail’s story and its purpose. After orientation, enjoy a relaxed coastal walk followed by a local lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the former Arahama Elementary School, a powerful reminder of the 2011 tsunami.
After breakfast at the hotel, set off for a day of hiking across the beautiful Urato Islands off the Matsushima coast. You’ll travel by boat between small islands like Katsurajima and Nonoshima, enjoying peaceful seaside views and quiet paths. A bento lunch will be served en route. In the evening, relax with a special local dinner paired with sake at a seaside brewery.
Start your day with a buffet breakfast before heading to Kesennuma Oshima Island. Hike along quiet trails to the scenic Kameyama Mountain, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the bay. After lunch on the trail, return to Sendai in the late afternoon to conclude the tour.
