Michinoku Coastal Trail Area Activities Miyako SUP and Local Lunch

Explore the beautiful coastline of Miyako with a stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) experience at Jodogahama Beach, one of Sanriku’s most scenic spots. Paddle across calm, clear waters while taking in dramatic views of rocky cliffs and lush greenery that you can only see from the sea. The 90-minute tour is guided and adjusted to suit your skill level, making it enjoyable whether you're a beginner or have tried SUP before.

After your time on the water, enjoy a local seafood lunch called "Bin Don." This creative dish, served in a glass milk bottle, was made to celebrate the area’s rich marine life and share its story after the 2011 disaster. Fresh and beautifully presented, it reflects the strength and flavor of the local culture.
