Tokyo Daijingu Shrine

Tokyo Daijingu Shrine, located in the Iidabashi district of Chiyoda Ward, stands as one of Tokyo's most significant Shinto shrines, often called "Tokyo's Ise Jingu." Established in 1880, the shrine was created to enshrine the same deities worshipped at the Grand Shrine of Ise in Mie Prefecture, allowing Tokyo residents to receive the blessings of Ise without making the long pilgrimage. The shrine enshrines Amaterasu Omikami (the sun goddess), Toyouke no Omikami (deity of agriculture and industry), and Yamatohime no Mikoto (a legendary princess).

The nearest station is Iidabashi Station, served by the JR Chuo-Sobu Line, Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, Yurakucho Line, and Namboku Line, all within a 5-minute walk from the shrine. Alternatively, visitors can walk approximately 10 minutes from Suidobashi Station on the JR Sobu Line.
