Begin your journey with an enlightening session about the legacy of Tsutsumi Production. Discover the intriguing transition from revered blacksmith traditions to the art of hoe making.
10:05 AM - Hands-on Crafting Begins
Roll up your sleeves and immerse yourself in the age-old craft. Under the watchful eyes of master craftsmen, you'll be introduced to smith forging. Feel the rhythm of the hammer and the warmth of heated iron as you shape it into your very own paper knife.
10:45 AM - A Pause in the Craft
As you wrap up your smith forging session, it's time for a short break. The class will be momentarily adjourned, giving you a golden opportunity to explore the beautiful landscapes and hidden treasures of Aizu. As you relish your sightseeing, the craftsmen will be hard at work, meticulously polishing your forged iron.
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM - The Grand Finale
Return to the workshop for the most awaited moment: receiving your crafted masterpiece. Your paper knife, a reflection of your effort and the workshop's tradition, will be elegantly encased in Aizu cotton. As a token of good fortune, you'll also receive a heart-shaped stainless steel lucky charm, ensuring your memories of this day remain evergreen.
