Although we took the ropeway ( cable car) there are 100 steps in total at the shrine. They are manageable because it's 10 steps then a flat area and items to see and discuss. Then another 10 to anther level. I highly recommend and it's a great value.

Fujiyama was not showing her face through the clouds, we could still appreciate the amazing geography in the area. We also traveled to the Tokugawa shrine using the cable car which was also an amazing experience and was one of the most beautiful scenic memorial sites we visited throughout our three-week tour through Japan. I would highly recommend spending the day with Miyuki as she is a not only a great guide, but a great person.
