Practicing Zen Through Tea Ceremony

Join a calm and simple tea ceremony to learn about Japanese culture and the spirit of Zen. First, you will taste Japanese sweets that go well with matcha. Then, you can relax and watch the tea instructor make a bowl of matcha using slow and careful movements.

After watching, you will try each step of the tea-making process with help from a guide. You will also learn how Zen thinking is shown in Japanese art and spaces. In the end, you will make your own tea and enjoy a quiet moment of peace and focus.
