Experience the art of traditional Japanese sword-making in Seki City with a private forging demonstration by master swordsmiths. Learn the history, see the craft up close, and explore authentic samurai culture.

Yes, the museum shop may offer handcrafted blades and cutlery for sale. However, the purchase and transport of swords are subject to local laws and export restrictions.

Seki is about 1 hour by train or car from Gifu City, and approximately 1.5 to 2 hours from Nagoya, depending on your route. Shuttle service from the local meeting point is provided.

Photography is generally allowed, but please avoid using flash during the forging demonstration. Staff may advise you if certain areas or moments are not to be photographed.
