No, reservations are not required at Sushiro, but they are recommended to avoid long wait times, especially during peak hours. You can also use the Sushiro app to reserve a table in advance.
At Sushiro, sushi dishes are placed on a conveyor belt that moves past the tables. You can pick any dish you like, and your bill will be calculated based on the number and type of plates you take.
Sushiro offers some vegetarian options like cucumber rolls and inari (tofu skin), but vegan options are limited. It's advisable to check the menu or ask staff for specific dietary accommodations.
Some sushi items at Sushiro can be made gluten-free, but it's important to check with the staff regarding specific dishes and soy sauce options.
Sushiro is known for being affordable, with most sushi plates priced between 100-500 yen, depending on the item. You can enjoy a meal without breaking the bank.

4,9/5!! Came here during lunch and waited around 1 hour. We basically ordered the “must eat” and everything was delish and fresh. My favorite was salmon with avocado and onion & salmon salad. Definitely will come back!
A great “train sushi” place! The conveyor belt system is not being used.
I have a weakness for conveyor belt sushi places, liking the immediate availability of delicious dishes from the conveyor. Alas after COVID, many of the conveyor systems are no longer in use.
SUSHIRO Ueno has its conveyor sitting still and quiet, but the rapid track delivery system makes up for it!
Ordering with the tablet at the table or counter is easy and logical. You are limited to 4 items at a go, so the kitchen doesn’t get slammed with huge orders. The small orders arrive quickly, the first order arriving for us shortly after placing the last order making up the opening of our meal.
The fish is fresh and delicious. Fish portion size is standard to slightly large. The eel and scallop were particularly delicious!
Infinite green tea is available with a hot water tap and a container of green tea power at each table and counter station. Hot coffee and some of the usual alcoholic beverages can be easily self-ordered with the tablet.
It does get crowded, with a long waiting line having developed by the time we finished our meal. Go early to have the best chance of a short line. Getting seated at a counter seat is much quicker than getting a table, so choose carefully when registering at the kiosk for a spot on the waiting list.
Food prices were very good for the quality and size of the servings. My wife and I ate well with desert and coffee for the equivalent of $40 USD.
Credit cards accepted!
This is a very popular revolving sushi restaurant. You scan the code with your phone and place orders. The food comes out within minutes.
The food is very fresh. You can get a wide range of options from affordable cuts of salmon and tuna, to very expensive dishes. When I came here there was a deal on sea urchin for 140 yen a piece. Very affordable (I can only speak as a tourist).
It is extremely popular. Later on at night, the what times can get close to an hour. But there is a lot to do around the area.
I definitely recommend.
while you can definitely get better sushi elsewhere, it’s a great place for decent fish and a cheap bite to eat 😋 we enjoyed it ❣️
i went around 8:30pm on a weekday and still took around 30 mins to get a seat. it was an impulse choice so maybe a reservation would be recommended next time.
As a tourist, what’s not to like? Fish quality is good, conveyor belt style is super fun, and atmosphere is bustling. We ate until we were very full and it was cheap. We were a party of 2 and our baby and we were seated in about 5 minutes at 8pm.
