Fun for entire family
The Marine Tower is easy to find. We were at the doors for opening and when purchasing a ticket at the machine, we were assisted by a lovely lady. Next, we were whisked to the viewing floor - there are two, the second one is accessible by a flight of stairs from the first viewing floor or you may use the elevator.
Unfortunately the weather that day was not cooperating, however, we were able to admire the 360 degree view. The rainy weather kept the crowds away so we had both floors to ourselves, which was unique. As others have said, the tower is high enough to afford you a view, however, not so high that you cannot make out streets etc.
When you return to the main floor, be sure to check out the gift shop.
I forgot, you can see far beyond what you think
As soon as I got off the articulated bus Bayside Blue in front of Yamashita Park, it was right in front of me. It was the first time in 45 years, but I enjoyed seeing the view in all directions and far away because it was taller than the impression I had in the corner of my memory. We also saw an interesting scene where the shadow of the tower itself hangs over Yamashita Park.
