The Bansei Tokkō Peace Museum is a war memorial located in Minamisatsuma, Kagoshima Prefecture, that commemorates the 201 airmen who departed from Bansei Air Base on kamikaze missions during World War II. The museum was established in 1993 by Hichiro Naemura, a former flight instructor at the base, to honor his fallen comrades and promote peace through remembrance of this tragic chapter in Japanese military history.
