Great tour
This was a great tour. The bamboo forest was beautiful and the temple gardens were so peaceful. The guide was a lovely young French woman (whose name, regrettably, has escaped me) who was very knowledgeable and engaging. FYI: the hike up to the Monkey Park is fairly strenuous. It was a very hot and humid day in June and a challenge. Worth it, though.
One tour, dozens of sights, infinite memories
So many memories made in one tour! The bamboo forest was breathtaking, and a nice, cool respite from the summer sun. The gardens and shrines offered excellent photo ops and people watching, and the monkeys were so much fun to see! Alice was a wonderful guide, sharing the history and customs of the area with wisdom and good humor. This was our last stop in Kyoto and we highly recommend it!
