A Great Day in the Forest of Bamboos
We had a fantastic time exploring Arashiyama, including the Bamboo Grove, Tenryu-ji Temple, and the Monkey Park. Our guide, Tom, was excellent - his English was flawless and he came across as genuinely well travelled. He was friendly and polite throughout and shared lots of interesting facts along the way, but what we appreciated most was his honesty which made the whole experience feel more relaxed and authentic.
