It's recommended to bring comfortable walking shoes, a hat or umbrella depending on the weather, a camera for the beautiful sights, and extra money if you wish to purchase souvenirs or food during your free time at the shopping street.
There are no specific restrictions on photography for most of the tour, and we indeed encourage it! However, please respect any specific restrictions at individual sites, such as inside some of the temples.
While traditional Japanese tea and a sweet are included during your visit to the Okochi Sanso Garden, other meals or snacks are not included. You'll have free time to buy food and drinks in the shopping street area.

Great Kyoto Walking Tour with Toru
Fun and informative tour with Toru despite a very challenging rainy day. Toru was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with that made us forget about the rain. Particularly liked the secret spots on the tour and Toru's skill at telling the history and stories that made it so special.
