Summited on May 13, 2025. This was my first visit to Yakushima, and after hesitating between the Jomon Sugi trail or this one, I decided to choose depending on the weather. Since the weather was great, I decided to climb Miyanoura-dake. The beginning was a Yakusugi forest. After that, there were clear streams and wetlands, and mountains full of strangely shaped rocks. The scenery was varied and interesting. The 360-degree view from the summit of Miyanoura-dake was spectacular. I was amazed to see the horizon at eye level. The view toward Nagata-dake was particularly spectacular. Nagata-dake towers over a green plain-like area, with the sea behind it. Magnificent. The round trip (plus Kuromi-dake) took nine hours, including breaks. As a Kyushu native, I'm happy to have climbed Kyushu's highest peak. 我租了一輛車前往淀川步道起點。早上5點剛過，我到達停車場，但停車場已經滿了，所以我把車停在了稍遠一些的路邊。
