Ueno Tōshō-gū Shrine
Located inside Ueno Park, this shrine is rich with Edo-period charm. You’ll need a ticket to enter the main area, but it’s totally worth it. The golden architecture glimmers under the sun, with intricate carvings that showcase incredible craftsmanship. Surrounded by tall ancient trees, the place feels serene and sacred. It’s not a large site, but it carries a timeless sense of peace that makes you want to linger.
