Wonderful chance to learn about Japanese instruments and hear them played.
This was one of the highlights of our trip. We had an introduction to the instruments that would bee played, a short concert by a wonderfully talented musician and the questions were answered. As a treat we spent additional time on a koto lesson, which was fun and informative, even if we only did learn twinkle twinkle! Even if you are not into Asian music, I think you would enjoy this evening.
Beautiful music and knowledgable staff
Me and my partner attended the concert and enjoyed it very much :) learning about the history of the instruments, how they work and seeing what the scores looked like was very interesting and the music itself was beautiful. We were blown away by the talent of the musician and enjoyed the intimate, small-concert experience and opportunity to ask questions.
