What exactly is Battojutsu?

Also called Iaido, it is the art of drawing the sword and striking in one decisive motion, then maintaining awareness and resheathing. The whole sequence is what you practice here.

Why only three participants?

Sword work demands space and the instructor's full attention. Capping the session at three keeps corrections personal and the dojo safe.

What is included besides the training?

Samurai wear with tabi socks, the sword itself, entrance fees, a master's demonstration, photography sent to your email, matcha, and gratuities are all part of the plan.

What languages are available?

English by default, with Italian, Spanish, French, Chinese, Thai, and Indonesian possible on request depending on staff availability.
