Ikebana: Japanese Flower Arrangement

Experience the beauty of Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging. In this hands-on experience, you’ll learn how to create elegant designs using fresh, seasonal flowers. A professional flower instructor and an English-speaking guide will explain the basics of Ikebana, including its history, tools, and the meaning behind each arrangement. You'll be introduced to moribana, a style that uses three main stems to create a balanced and natural look.

After watching a live demonstration, you will get to make your own Ikebana arrangement. The instructor will give you helpful advice and gently adjust your work to bring out its full beauty. Flowers like bamboo, camellia, or daffodils may be used, depending on the season. This calm and creative activity is a great way to learn about Japanese culture and enjoy working with nature in a simple, meaningful way.
