The best time to visit depends on your interest in roses, which are the park's main attraction. The peak rose blooming seasons occur from mid-May to late June and again from October to mid-November, when approximately 30,000 roses across 800 varieties are in full bloom. During these periods, admission prices are higher due to the spectacular displays. However, the park maintains year-round appeal with seasonal flowers including irises and hydrangeas in early summer, sunflowers in summer, dahlias in autumn, and camellias and nanohana in winter. Winter illuminations typically run from mid-November through early January, offering a different experience.
