The Nii Rice Terraces are located in the town of Ine within Yosa District, Kyoto Prefecture, positioned along Japan's northern coast. By train, visitors can take a one-hour bus ride from Amanohashidate Station on the Kyoto Tango Railway Miyatoyo Line. Electric bicycle rentals are available in Ine town for those wishing to cycle to the terraces, though the route involves climbing over mountainous terrain.
