Fun walk at Nikko heritage area
Nao made the Nikko tour fun. We saw the abyss, walked around town, learned Japanese history, and what a fantastic shrine to the first Shogan. The history and detail sculptures on the buildings was unbelievable. Nao also provided where to exchange funds, provided a huge typical Japanese lunch, and kept moving on. Advice is to wear real comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. It was warm and humid this day. The hardest part was going up the stairs to the Shogan burial. Only 207 steps each way. But, it is the 100 or so arriving to that 207 place. Except for all the uphill parts, it was downhill. Anyway, cheers and safe travels.
