Our guide, Harry, was fantastic. He explains things very well. Super friendly and approachable. I would definitely recommend Harry. Furthermore, he provided us with places of interest not only in Takayama but also in other locations.

Takayama and Shirakawa Go day trip from Takayama
Harry led our guided tour of Takayama and Shirakawa-go, and he made the day. His knowledge of the local history was excellent. He brought both towns to life with context you’d never get on your own. He was friendly and chatty throughout, patiently offered to take photos for us at every stop, and pointed us toward good souvenir shops and great places to eat. He was also happy to answer all our questions along the way. Highly recommend this tour!!
