You'll start by visiting Kennin-ji Temple, the oldest Zen temple in the city, where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and learn about the roots of Japanese tea culture. Afterward, take a stroll through the charming Gion district, known for its traditional wooden houses and the chance to spot geisha walking to their appointments.

Next, you'll experience a traditional tea ceremony at Fukujuen, a historic tea shop that has been sharing the art of tea for generations. To end the tour, explore the lively Nishiki Market, often called "Kyoto’s kitchen," where you can see and taste all kinds of local food and specialties.
