Experience the art of Japanese paper folding in Tokyo with a hands-on origami class. Learn to create seven traditional and modern designs using colorful washi paper, guided by an English-speaking instructor.
In this origami class, you will learn how to fold paper into different shapes using traditional Japanese methods. An English-speaking instructor will guide you through each step, starting from simple pieces and moving to more detailed ones. You will use special Japanese paper called washi, which has beautiful colors and patterns.
During the session, you will make seven origami pieces, including:
Card Case
Samurai Helmet (you can wear it)
Chopstick Rest or Kimono-style Envelope
Box
Boat
Traditional Crane
Hokusai-style Crane
You will try different paper sizes and learn basic and intermediate folding techniques. This is a good way to experience Japanese culture and create something by hand.
