What other travelers are saying about Family Land Musashino Village in the Green
Great place to take your kids on a nice sunny day. It has just about everything a kid likes. It has several roller coasters, go carts (big and small), a ghost house, several ballon floats, merry go round, small zoo with sheep, pigs, peacocks and rabbits.
I visited here when you can enjoy the cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms added a lot to the pictures overall.
Great for the summer pool!! The staff was very happy and geniki! They had water guns and sprays, the water was cool and clean, and there were many activities to do. The children enjoyed a lot!
It's just too bad there was no transportation (30 minute walk!)
Somewhat run down but fun for smaller children and people nostalgic for their childhoods amusement rides. The card game (kururimori) labyrinth however is severely addictive and you risk having to go back again and again for your kids to play. ”Norihoudai” (ride as much as you can) tickets are highly recommended.
The restaurant in the ”family-kan” is under average (serving ramen, kara-age, yakisoba and the like). You are far better off bringing cup noodles and hot water (you can of course not bring your own food and drink). But some of the omiyage are fun.
Family Land Musashino Village in the Green operates from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, though specific hours may vary by season and should be confirmed on their official website. Combination tickets offering entrance fees and unlimited ride passes are available for better value. Current pricing shows entrance plus ride pass combinations at 3,200 yen for adults (middle school and up) and typically 2,600 yen for children and seniors (65+), though promotional rates are sometimes available.
The park is located at 1700-1 Shidami, Kazo, Saitama, with free parking available on-site. For public transportation, take the Tobu Isesaki Line from Musashi Urawa Station to Kazo Station, which takes approximately 40 minutes. From Kazo Station, additional local transportation to the park is required. The facility's northeastern Saitama location makes it easily accessible from the greater Tokyo metropolitan area.
The park provides several dining and rest options including the Family Building Hall (free rest area) accommodating 1,000 people, Hanamizuki Restaurant seating up to 70 people, and a barbecue corner accommodating up to 100 people. These facilities operate during standard park hours from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The barbecue facilities and camping areas also offer mess kit services for rice preparation, providing a complete outdoor dining experience for families seeking extended stays.
The park offers seasonal harvesting experiences at their "Wakuwaku Farm" within the grounds. Harvesting experience events are held throughout the year, with tomato and strawberry picking in the spring, followed by summer activities including eggplant and blueberry picking. Autumn brings chestnut picking and sweet potato digging, while winter features broccoli, onion, and radish harvesting. The farm experience allows children to enjoy harvesting seasonal vegetables and fruits, potentially helping them overcome food dislikes through hands-on participation.
