The most underrated castle with the super unique design among all Japanese castles. Even though it’s the rebuild one, it looks totally authentic and a museum inside is informative and interesting. Outside garden looks a bit wild compare to popular Japanese gardens, but there is totally an own beauty in this. The big advantage of this place it has totally no people and absolutely quiet. So if you tired of crowds of tourists, you will definitely catch a zen of real Japan in a quiet Takashima castle’s garden.
A very nice, small, old style castle with a historical museum inside. You can *just* see mt. Fuji from one of the observation decks. If you like castles, this little gemis a must visit.
The cutest castle i have ever seen here in Japan. It is small but i like the design so much. It resembles the garden view and the mini lake that surrounds it. So cool actually

If the sky is clear you can see Fuji from the top of the castle which is also cool!
Small castle relative to the size of the grounds, but overall a very wonderful experience. Had a wonderful time walking around the grounds. Cherry blossoms made it even more beautiful.
