Did 2 cooking classes with Miho: started with a typical Japanese meal (miso soup, omelette, inari and making sushi and spinach salad) as well as mochi, and liked this experience so much that we then took the desert class as well (dango, doriyaki and mochi). Miho explained everything so well, the dishes were delicious (some of them even better than those tried at different street food vendors). Most (if not all) of the recipes seem recreateble at home. It was fun, creative, informative, and delicious, thank you Miho!
A fun class and a unique opportunity to visit a local home
Miho is fantastic! We were welcomed into a beautiful home and learned to prepare a wonderful multi-course meal, including sushi and mochi-covered ice cream. I especially enjoyed the supermarket tour at the end, where we were able to buy some of the ingredients. It was an experience not available in any other tour--like visiting a friend's house and having a look into day-to-day life. Our schedule was tight, and Miho even helped us get a taxi to the airport after our class.
