GiGO Akihabara

GiGO Akihabara is a multi-story arcade complex located in Tokyo’s Akihabara district, known for its concentration of electronics, anime, and gaming culture. Originally operated by Sega under names like “High-tech Land Sega” and “Club Sega,” the arcade was later rebranded after the management shifted to Genda GiGO Entertainment.

The various GiGO buildings in Akihabara, often numbered 1 through 5, each host a range of games including UFO catcher prize machines, retro arcade titles, rhythm games, fighting games, and modern VR experiences. Each floor typically focuses on a different genre, creating a layered experience for visitors. The arcades are popular with both locals and tourists, offering a high-energy atmosphere and serving as a hub for gaming enthusiasts.
