An old shrine dating back to the 9th century with its main shrine having been built on orders by the first shogun of Japan Tokugawa Ieyasu during the 17th century. The shrine is located near Miho-no-Matsubara, an area with lots of pine trees, and a 520 meter wooden walkway with old pine trees either side known as Kami-no-michi, leads up to/from the shrine. Goshuin available.
9世紀に遡る古社で、本殿は17世紀に初代将軍徳川家康の命により建立された。社殿は松林の多い三保松原の近くにあり、両脇に老松が並ぶ全長520メートルの木道「神の道」が社殿へと続いてる。御朱印もある。
