Lafra, our guide, was extraordinary. She was knowledgeable and her passion for history really shined through. She answered all of our questions, and then some. The hike itself was stunningly beautiful, interesting, and so much. Definitely a highlight of our time in Kyoto!
Private Arashiyama Walking Tour
I was fortunate to be the only participant in the Magical Trip half-day walking tour. I had visited Arashiyama previously but this tour was truly magical. My guide, Yuki, took me to places with very few visitors away from the crowds. We had a delicious tofu lunch (a Kyoto specialty) at a traditional Japanese restaurant. The service was excellent. Yuki speaks English very well. She is knowledgeable and I learned a lot about Arashiyama, Kyoto and Japanese history and culture. But above everything else she is very kind and I feel like I made a friend. I am very grateful to her for a wonderful day that I will always remember! Thank you for a magical day!
