Kimono and Tea Ceremony Experience in Kyoto (Shared Plan)

This is a shared experience with other groups, not a private booking.

Please arrive on time; late arrivals join the session partway through, and sessions cannot start early.

If a group arrives late, joining that slot is not possible; rebooking or private handling incurs a private fee paid on site.

The tea room used on the day is chosen by Tondaya and cannot be selected.

Wear a top with an open neckline; collared shirts and turtlenecks make kimono dressing difficult.

Larger kimono sizes are stocked but come in fewer colors and patterns.

Children are welcome; there is no child rate, so the standard fee applies per person.

Socks are required; forgotten socks must be purchased on site, and stockings are not permitted.

Not all staff speak fluent English and translation devices may be used; inquire in advance to confirm non-English language support.
