Mayumi and Mio were such gracious and lovely tea hosts in the city they grew up in and love, Osaka.
Mayumi & Mio were lovely historians, traditional tea hostesses. We learned Japanese heritage and practiced how to make tea.

Even the teenagers loved it...
What an absolute treat! We had always planned to do a tea ceremony on our travels of Japan and decided to save it for our final day. Have to say our teenage kids were not hugely excited about the prospect, so what a result that they both said this was one of the highlights of Japan!
Miu who ran the ceremony was wonderful and the whole experience was so calm, precise and relaxing in a world that is somewhat chaotic.
Thanks for a great end to our Japanese adventure
