Tokyo: Meiji Shrine Walking Tour, Shintoism and Imperial System

We had an amazing experience with our guide, Keiko. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Japanese history and culture. She explained the history and traditions of Meiji Jingu in a very engaging and easy-to-understand way, and she was always happy to answer our questions.

This tour was one of my favourites. This is a must visit location, I absolutely loved the peace and quiet of the gorgeous park and shrine in the middle of busy tokyo. Our tour guide Yuuki was very knowledgeable and explained the different parts of the shrine and religious practises very well, and taught us how to pray correctly too. I really recommend this tour! The meeting point was easy to find and the tour started and ended on time. There is a great gift shop too! It is free to enter.
