Yes, the class is offered in both Japanese and English, so you can easily follow along regardless of your language background. Other languages may be available upon request in advance.
Please wear or bring socks, as this is a traditional Japanese setting where footwear is removed. If you arrive barefoot, socks can be purchased on-site for a small fee.
No, the kimono is not included in the standard experience. However, a simple two-piece kimono rental is available on-site for an additional fee if you'd like to enhance your cultural experience.
Photos are welcome and encouraged during the class. However, video recording of the instructor’s demonstration is not permitted to protect the teaching method and ensure a smooth flow for all guests.
Your fee includes the full guided session, use of all calligraphy tools and materials during the class, and tax. Optional souvenirs and add-ons, such as a beginner’s set or matcha candy, are available for an extra charge.
