Its my first time to visit this flower farm. It was a rainy day on May 3,2026 but It was still a great experience for me to see and experience this beautiful place. I bought 1 ticket in advance at convenience store and for my son it was free admission is free until 12 years old. We were able to see different colors from purple, white and pink. It was totally full-bloomed. This flower blooms for a short span from April and May very limited so to those interested to visit this place check the peek season of this flower. You will be surprised how Japanese people managed to designed and raised this beautiful flower for us to see. 🥰😘😍
I just visited the wisteria gardens during the first week of May, and it was absolutely breathtaking! The displays are in full bloom around may, offering endless photo opportunities. If you’re planning to go, make sure to book your tickets online in advance to secure a spot. I believe they close around mid-May, so definitely check the dates but well worth the effort to go before the season ends!
I would go again but loads of bees, if your bringing children keep this in mind if they are scared of them.
I went to Kawachi Fujien on 26Apr2026, the period just before the golden week, it was raining, the wisteria started blooming, but it was already beautiful. Advanced ticket reservation is required from 26 apr to 6 may, which was during Golden Week, you can walk in from 7may onwards, the wisteria will be fully bloom by that time. You might see a line for people queuing to take a photo with the wisteria domes, you can skip these lines and continue the route if you dont have time.
In my opinion, the rain and cloudy sky make the wisteria photos look better than when it was sunny
We went to this place so our son can become a hashira. Unfortunately, it was not completed due tonthe frequency of nappy change, bottle feeding, and nap time that he requires.
Kidding aside, the long and challenging drive to reach this place is worth it. The weather was perfect and the wisteria was almost full bloom when we came.
This is probably the second most beautiful flower next to cherry blossoms.
We were not able to fully explore the place but some parts of the mountain has bamboo and maple tree.
We arrived around 9 AM on a Thursday, and the crowd was quite light—not many people, so it was easy to take photos with just a short wait. The flowers were in beautiful bloom, and there was a gentle floral scent in the air, which I found really pleasant—something like jasmine or Calendula officinalis.
When we arrived by car, there were staff members helping with parking directions. There are restrooms available—fairly clean. The women’s restroom had four stalls, while the men’s had three, though one of them seemed to be temporarily out of order.
The walking path is marked as one-way, but there didn’t seem to be any strict enforcement. We saw a couple in wedding attire—hopefully they got some lovely photos. There were also a few small items available for sale near the entrance, but not many.
