粗眉仔不經不覺便行到河童橋，橋上實在太多人，弄得橋身不停搖晃。河童橋（かっぱばし）是一條橫跨梓川的木製吊橋，全長37米，闊3.1米，為上高地的地標和最受歡迎的景點。河童橋始建於1891年，之後曾被重建過四次，目前是建於1997年的第五代河童橋。橋上人太多，加上搖晃得太厲害，反而到橋下的淺灘更容易拍到好風景。河童橋風景絕美，加上今日天氣好，隨便一拍都已經是明信片級的漂亮風景。

可以直接搭巴士到河童橋，亦可以在前面的巴士站下車，一路步行前往河童橋，中途的廁所不多，一定要記得下車時先上廁所再開始步行，沿路有許多有熊出沒的招牌，亦有猴子出沒。河童橋是上高地最美的景點，看著山縫間那一抹痕跡，真的有一種恍若隔世的感覺（只是人潮有點多）。橋底下的溪河清澈且淺，可以坐在河面的石頭上度過悠閒的時光。

河童是日本民間故事中的一種水妖，據說棲息在河流和池塘之中，擁有類似人形的身體，頭上有水盤，喜好惡作劇，卻也能帶來豐收與祝福。 20241107 Q毛帶團來到河童橋，車上聴到他講述著由來，河童是傳說中的生物，是一種四不像、身體四肢像青蛙、背上有龜殼、嘴巴像鳥類，喜歡吃小黃瓜，所以壽司店有「河童壽司」，就是小黃瓜壽司；也是日本名作家芥川龍之介1927年代表作之一《河童》的典故，敘述主角在攀登穗高岳時發現了傳說中的可愛妖怪-河童，在一路追逐中不慎掉落洞穴，醒來時已身處河童王國的故事，將河童世界與人類世界做了一番對比，從此上高地聲名大噪，河童橋因此成了家喻戶曉的著名景點。而龍之介最終受憂鬱症之苦，自古強者多命薄，在三十五歲時的青春年紀，仰藥結束了不平凡的一生。
