Cherry blossom season runs from late March to early April. Autumn foliage appears from October to November. Early mornings between 6-8 AM are optimal for birdwatching. Weekdays have fewer visitors than weekends.
Picnicking is allowed on the lawn areas. Barbecues and open flames are prohibited. Visitors must dispose of trash in designated bins or take it with them.
The park has playground equipment in designated play areas. Restrooms with accessible facilities are located throughout the grounds. Paved paths accommodate strollers easily.
Common species include mallards, spot-billed ducks, little grebes, herons, and egrets. Migratory birds pass through during spring and autumn. Songbirds inhabit the wooded sections.
