Join this martial arts adventure in Japan which includes seminars with Shinya Aoki and Igor Tanabe, a visit to a Sumo-beya and a good mix of history and culture. The 9 days in Tokyo include the opportunity to take part in the Asian IBJJF Championship in Chiba, BJJ seminars and various day trips to explore the city. The following 2 days in Hiroshima include some of the city's most popular sights as well as a day trip to Miyajima. From there we travel to Kyoto for a 2 night stay with a brief stop in Osaka. We visit shrines, temples and the famous Arashiyama bamboo forest. We then finish our journey with a final evening in Tokyo before flying out the next morning. The itinerary also includes optional training at local BJJ and MMA gyms around Japan, activities such teamLab, GoKarting in Tokyo, and multiple restaurants where you can sample some of the best local cuisine.
