ここの猿は驚くほど穏やかなので、安心して散策出来ました。岳沢湿原は、上高地の梓川右岸、河童橋から明神方面へ徒歩約15分の原生林内にある小さな湿原です。六百山を背景に、立ち枯れの木々と澄んだ湧水が織りなす幻想的な風景が特徴で、特に朝の木漏れ日が美しい場所です。木道や展望ウッドデッキが整備されており、レンゲツツジやニッコウキスゲ、ヤマドリゼンマイなどの湿原植物を気軽に観察できます。静寂に包まれた苔むす森のせせらぎや、イワナが泳ぐ姿も楽しめる癒やしのスポットです。

よくある質問

はい、この湿地帯は年間を通して訪れることができます。探索に最適な時期は、天候が穏やかで植物が満開となる4月中旬から11月下旬です。

訪問者は、指定された小道から外れず、この保護区域内の植物や動物を乱したり採取したりしないよう求められています。湿地での遊泳や釣りも禁止されています。

一部のエリアは移動に制限のある方にとって困難な場合がありますが、ほとんどのボードウォークは車椅子でアクセス可能です。

湿地帯の入口付近には公衆トイレと小さなお土産ショップがあります。ただし、敷地内にはレストランやカフェがないため、訪れる際は食べ物や飲み物を持参することをおすすめします。

いいえ、湿地帯エリアでのキャンプや宿泊は許可されていません。エリアをさらに探索したい場合は、上高地周辺の宿泊施設を利用できます。

朝の湿原は、まず温度で語りかけてくる。夜のあいだに降りた冷気が浅い水面の上に溜まり、草の穂には細かい露がびっしりと並ぶ。日の出前世界は青と灰の二色に近づき、立ち枯れの幹は墨の線のように立つ。やがて稜線の向こうから光が差すと、露は一粒ずつ点滅を始め湿原は音を持つ光の畑へと変わる。遠くで梓川の低い持続音が鳴り、近くでは小さな水路が「チリチリ」「サラサラ」と薄い子音を刻む。草の間を渡る風は、最初は冷たく、すぐにやわらかさを帯びる。白樺の幹がいち早く発光し、葉は半逆光で透け、葉脈は小さな光の川となって流れ出す。

土曜日、買ったからも比較的近いのもあり人が多く賑やかで静かに眺められません。すぐに離れました。行かれるなら平日がオススメです。

【河童橋から直ぐ近くの湿原】 バスツアーなどでは時間的に余裕が無く明神池迄は無理なので河童橋周辺で過ごす方も多いと思いますが直ぐ近くに美しい湿原が有るので足を運んでみて欲しいです、運が良ければ可愛らしい猿が間近で見られます
