長野県の志賀高原は、その息をのむような自然美とアウトドアアクティビティで知られる高原エリアです。4,300ヘクタール以上にわたる広大な地域で、日本最大級のスキーリゾートの一つとして有名です。冬になると一面が雪の楽園となり、世界中からスキーヤーやスノーボーダーが訪れます。雪質は非常に良く、あらゆるレベルの人が楽しめるパウダースノーのゲレンデが広がっています。

暖かい季節には、志賀高原はまったく異なる魅力を見せます。青々とした森、美しい湖、そして景観の良い山道へと続く数多くのハイキングコースが広がっています。志賀高原は、生物多様性の豊かさで知られる上信越高原国立公園の一部でもあります。ハイカーは珍しい植物や野生動物を目にすることも多く、冒険心をかき立てられます。

この地域は温泉でも有名です。1日探検した後は、多くの温泉のいずれかで、ミネラル豊富な湯の癒やし効果を楽しみながらリラックスできます。

文化を感じたいなら、志賀高原は歴史ある渋温泉の町や、ニホンザルが温泉に入る姿で有名なスノーモンキーパークにも近い場所にあります。

コースも多く広く快適でした！ただ中間のゴンドラがすごく混んでて少し困りました。ただパウダーも最高で軽く80km程度の速度が出せて楽しかったです(´˘`＊)

よく晴れた日には富士山から北アルプスまで望めるスキーエリア。長野オリンピックの滑降競技の会場として整備されました。そのためスキー場はもちろんのこと、広い道路などしっかり整備されていて、夏シーズンも2000m級の景色を手軽に観光できます。秋の紅葉も絶景です。車で草津まで旅行の際はぜひ足を延ばしてほしいです。

母親のお姉さんが長期入院しており、名古屋から一泊二日で会いに須坂市へ行きました。 紅葉が綺麗と聞いて何十年ぶりに伺い、姉と姪っ子2人と5人で序でに昼食もいただきました。 母親が87歳と高齢なので、今回が最後になるかなーと思い行けてよかったです。 小布施の町中も散策できてよかったです。

久々満点星⭐５ 昔と比べホテルなど老朽化が進む廃業しているところも多くありました。やはり志賀高原と言えば横手山ですかね。横手山山頂から見る四方八方の山々。そこに雲が共存し雲海として最高のシチュエーションへと変貌しているその風景は言葉にならないほどの絶景です。

2025年4月27日(日)朝9時半頃到着し雪の壁を楽しみました。 志賀草津道路が23日に開通、雪の壁がある事をネット記事を見て知り見学に行きました（笑）群馬県側は雪崩の影響で開通はしていませんでしたが、4mの雪の壁は絶景でした！！近くにパーキングもあり、車で来た方はそこに停めて歩いて行く事をお薦めします！交通量も結構あるので、雪の壁の前で路上駐車して写真を撮らないように！常識ある行動をお願いします。 志賀草津道路には、国道最高地点の碑もあるのでそちらもどうぞ（笑）
