城壁や門、広い敷地から望む那覇の街並みも印象的で、晴れた日は特に気持ちが良いです。場内は整備されており、解説も分かりやすいため、大人はもちろん、歴史に詳しくない方でも十分に楽しめます。
派手な観光施設ではありませんが、沖縄を深く知りたい人にとっては欠かせない場所です。完全復活の日を楽しみにしつつ、今しか見られない「復興途中の首里城」を体験する価値は十分にあると思います。
