初めての竹中大工道具館。
大工道具を集めたところからこの大工道具館が始まり、好きこそものの上手なれ、でどんどんいろんなものが集まり今の道具館につながる。
創業者の家だった場所に、今の大工道具館が移ってきたそうです。
新幹線の新神戸の駅から、歩いて10分もかからない場所にあり、交通の便も良い。
とても興味深い大工道具や、建物もすごく良い。いるだけで、良い建築だなぁ、と思えて道具を見ると、自ずと竹中工務店ってすごいなぁ、と感じてしまう。雰囲気勝ち🏆
イベントや企画展も行っていて、子供から大人まで、わいわいしていました。
体験型のミュージアムで、実際になんでも触れるので、刺激になります。
世界の大工さんも、一度きてみたら、共感が湧くかもしれません。
企画展も、とても興味深いものが多く、9月の企画展は、ジョージナカシマでした。9月も是非、きてみたいです。
海外の方も興味の持てるミュージアムです。
My first visit to the Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum.
This museum began as a collection of carpentry tools; as the saying goes, “Practice makes perfect,” and as the owner’s passion grew, more and more items were gathered, eventually leading to the museum as it is today.
I heard that the current museum was relocated to the site of the founder’s former home.
It’s located less than a 10-minute walk from Shin-Kobe Station on the Shinkansen line, so it’s very accessible.
The carpentry tools are incredibly fascinating, and the building itself is stunning. Just being there makes you appreciate the excellent architecture, and when you look at the tools, you can’t help but feel that Takenaka Corporation is truly remarkable. The atmosphere really wins it all 🏆
They also host events and special exhibitions, and the place was bustling with people of all ages, from children to adults.
It’s a hands-on museum where you can actually touch everything, which makes it very stimulating.
Carpenters from around the world might find themselves relating to the experience if they visit.
There are many fascinating special exhibitions as well; the one in September featured George Nakashima. I’d definitely like to visit again in September.
It’s a museum that will appeal to visitors from overseas as well.
