Excellent and very interesting tour
The tour was very well thought out, and we were taken to multiple locations in Hiroshima related to the atomic bombing. It really helped to put into context and perspective of everything that happened that day, as well as celebrated the beautiful and thriving city that Hiroshima is today. Our guide, Mariko, was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgable. She did an amazing job taking us through all the locations on the tour and explaining their significance, and she was just super fun to talk with as well! I definitely recommend booking this tour for anyone interested in learning more about the history of Hiroshima.
Excellent and interesting walking tour
We really enjoyed the Hiroshima peace tour. Our guide was friendly, interesting and we are so grateful that she shared the story of her grandfather (an atomic bomb survivor) with us.
Our guide was personable, and she could answer all of the questions we had as we went around. I would definitely recommend doing this tour as we got so much from it and having a local guide made all the difference. We learnt so much we didn’t know before.
The tour included the museum which was interesting and we could go at our own pace. The lunch at the end was delicious.
