Who Can Join

• Age: You need to be at least 18 years old.

• Height: Recommended height between 145cm and 185cm to fit comfortably in the karts. Contact the provider to enquire about height or weight restrictions.

Necessary Documentation

To participate in this activity, drivers need to present one of the following original documents that permit you to legally drive in Japan:

1. International Driving Permit (IDP) + Passport

2. SOFA Permit (USFJ Form 4EJ) for US Forces in Japan + Military ID

3. Japanese Driver’s License

• Drivers with Belgium, France, Germany, Monaco, Switzerland or Taiwan issued driver’s licenses need to obtain an official Japanese Translation from an authorized organization.

• On the day of the activity, drivers with the above domestic licenses will need to present the following:

1. Domestic Driver's License

2. Official Japanese Translation

3. Passport

International Driving Permit (IDP)

• Accepted Standard: Must conform to the 1949 Geneva Convention on Road Traffic.

• Issuance: Issued exclusively by designated authorities in your home country, such as national automobile associations.

Note: The IDP must be a physical booklet that includes the date of the Geneva Convention ("1949 Geneva"). Be wary of any offerings of digital or non-booklet forms of the IDP, as these are not officially recognized.

Authentic IDP Features

• Classifications: Must be from A~E

• Classification B must be stamped or marked by the issuing association.

Additional Booking Information

• Ensure your booking name matches your passport.

• Karts are single-seaters, no extra seats are available.

• There are no rest stops during the activity.

• Costumes are provided, but Mario series costumes are not available due to no affiliation with Nintendo or 'Mario Kart'

• There will be no refund for customer bookings errors related to location / date / time.

• Provide the country of issuance for all participants' domestic driver's licenses.

• Send a copy/photo of every participants’ IDP Cover Page + Picture ID Page for verification process.

• For France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, Monaco license holders please send us the Japanese Translation (Driver’s Details page) for every participant.

• Avoid individual booking for group reservations as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.

• The maximum number of participants is 6.

Health and Safety Considerations

• Not suitable for individuals with back issues, pregnant travelers, heart problems, mobility impairments, in wheelchairs, hearing impairments and other serious medical conditions.

• Participants should have a moderate physical fitness level.

• Participants should wear shoes such as sneakers as a safety precaution (no sandals, heels, Japanese Geta). If you are not wearing fully closed shoes, we cannot allow you to drive.

Weather Policy

• The tour requires favorable weather conditions. An alternative date or a full refund will be provided in case of cancellation due to bad weather.

Go-Kart Tour Preparation Steps

• Early Arrival: Please arrive at our shop 30 minutes before your booked time. We usually conduct tours regardless of weather conditions, but please contact us for confirmation if you have any doubts.

• Registration Verification: Show your booking confirmation and let the shop staff know your booking name upon arrival. Next, provide your required valid documents for identity verification.

• Personal Item Storage and Costume Pick: Secure your personal belongings in a locker (You will need your passports and International Driving Permits or original country license and official translation for some countries). Choose your preferred costume from our selection of clean and sanitized outfits.

• Driving and Safety Instructions: Our guide will instruct you on the kart controls and outline important safety guidelines.

• Tour Commencement: With preparations complete, you’re all set to start your exciting street go-kart tour. Enjoy the experience!
