Shibuya - Possibly the most iconic place in Tokyo
Shibuya is home to one of the largest pedestrian crossings in the world. It can be packed with people - locals and visitors alike. But this day offers you the opportunity to walk into the surrounding neighbourhoods and explore some of the less known areas of Shibuya.

The crossing can get quite crowded, especially during rush hour. Prices around the crossing can also be a bit inflated so if you are looking to do some shopping it might be good to walk around and browse before making a decision. This however is a must-take photo opportunity.
Cat St, 3-chōme-18 Jingūmae, Shibuya, Tokyo, 일본
Very cute little shopping street with lots of fun shops and vintage clothing stores. Here you can immerse in the local fashion trends.

Omotesando is one of the more expensive parts of Tokyo and the shops here are high end. Have a walk around, perhaps with some shopping included, and enjoy the interesting architecture of the area.

After some potential shopping and definitely plenty of walking the Trunk Hotel is a great place to sit down and grab a cup of coffee or even a drink. Seats are available outside as well as indoors and the views are quite beautiful.

Shinjuku - Where business meets pleasure
Shinjuku is one of the major entertainment districts of Tokyo with narrow bar-streets and blazing neon lights. It is, however, also home to multiple skyscrapers filled with the working people of Tokyo's economic engine.

One might think making ramen is easy. Think again. There's much more to making good ramen. This fun experience is a good introduction to the ultimate comfort food of Japan.

도쿄
Whether you enjoy a drink or not, experiencing the bustling nightlife of Shinjuku is sure to make you a memory you won't forget. When people think of neon lights, people think of Shinjuku.

Before heading to Hokkaido, it is super convenient to send the luggage with Yamato to your next hotel. That way you don't have to drag your luggage around Tokyo. You simply board your flight and the luggage will be waiting for you at your destination. You can find Yamato services in their stores, like this one in Ginza, some convenience stores, hotels and on TripToJapan as well, see details in my Instagram Reel: instagram.com/triptojapan_/reel/DVOHoppks4T

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park

1-2 Nakajimachō, Naka Ward, Hiroshima, 730-0811 일본
This somber but historically important museum is a must-visit for all. Seeing this beautiful city rise from the ashes of a nuclear blast whilst remembering its past is very moving, to say the least.

Miyajima

1-1 Miyajimachō, Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima 739-0588 일본
One of the most iconic shrines in Japan with its famous semi-submerged Torii gate. Stroll along the seaside, along with the multiple deer, and find tranquility in this beautiful place of worship.

My favourite Buddhist temple in Japan, hands down. There's quite a steep climb to get there but it's well worth it!

일본 〒739-0588 히로시마현 하쓰카이치시 미야지마초 이쓰쿠시마 섬
After visiting the shrine (Shinto) and temple (Buddhism), have a relaxing time in town with a cold drink and some of the best oysters in Japan.
타카마츠
Takamatsu - Udon & Olives
Takamatsu, once the main entry point to Shikoku via its port, is still a major hub of commerce and culture. Famous for slurpingly-delicious Udon and Japanese Olives, it's a great place to visit for a different view of Japan.

My favourite garden in Japan. It's like being in a painting.

Please find Yashima-ji Buddhist temple on the peak of Mt. Yashima, offering great views of Takamatsu-city and the Seto Inland Sea. Also a great place to have tasty Matcha ice cream.
