Nabegadaki Falls is a waterfall in Oguni Town, Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu, within the Aso-Kuju National Park region. The waterfall drops approximately 20 meters over a curved rock face resembling a cooking pot or cauldron, hence "Nabega" (pot) "taki" (waterfall). The falls are formed by the Oguni River (also known as Tsuetsuki River) through forested mountain terrain in northern Kumamoto. The waterfall has served as a natural landmark for centuries. The surrounding area retains relatively undeveloped forest landscape. Walking paths and observation areas have been developed for visitor access.

The waterfall features a distinctive curved rock formation within the Aso-Kuju region's natural environment. Water flows over a smooth rock face creating a curtain-like cascade, particularly dramatic during high water periods. The waterfall is surrounded by deciduous and evergreen forest with seasonal changes—fresh greenery in spring and summer, vibrant autumn foliage typically in November, and occasional winter ice formations. Visitors access the waterfall via walking path from parking, requiring approximately 15 to 20 minutes of moderate hiking through forest. The trail descends toward the river valley before reaching viewing areas near the waterfall. Observation platforms allow viewing of the cascade from various angles, with the curved rock face and water curtain visible from the base. Autumn visits coincide with foliage colors. The walk includes elevation change and potentially slippery conditions near water, requiring appropriate footwear.

Nabegadaki Falls is accessible by car from Kumamoto City via national roads, approximately 90 to 120 minutes. From Aso City, approximately 45 to 60 minutes by car north through mountain roads. Limited public transportation makes rental cars or tours most practical. The nearest town, Oguni, is a small rural community. Remote mountain location requires careful route planning, particularly in winter with potential snow or ice.
